Paint Shop Pro - 9 and X+ -
Sinedot Shamrock by Eagle
For this tutorial you will need Paint Shop pro and the Sinedot11 filter.
Open a New Image 350 X 350. Green or flood fill it green if you are using a transparent layer. For the green I have used #008000.
Apply the Sinedot filter with these settings.
Erase the lower, tail like part.
Duplicate 2 times.
Use your Deform tool to move the leaves into place. You can also give them each a corner Deform just to take the 'all the same' look off of them.
To make the stem I used the ouside 3 lines of one of the leaves. I erased the other lines and used the Deform tool on them to squish them a bit.
 And move them into place.

Hit Copy Merged and Paste as New Image. Save.
You can resize them to use in arrangements or whatever.
You can also do it in green.
To make the original leaf green just change the color in the Sinedot11 filter to green instead of white and you would want a color other than green for your background layer on your original image.
This is what one section looks like.

To make it look like this example, I duplicated the single section layer. Use the Deform tool to make it a smidge smaller.
Duplicate that layer and used the deform tool on it again, a smidge smaller. Some moving might be necessary to properly fill the spaces. I have shown these on an off white background. Be sure to turn off the background layer when you merge these 3 layers.
Some may want it darker still. This is the merged layer duplicated 3 times.

Before you duplicate the single section, Resize it. This one is Resized to 60%
Once you have the single section made, continue as above to complete the shamrock.
